Migraine, Headache, and Concussions

Pain can be more than just a minor annoyance — it can affect every aspect of our lives.  Our advanced upper cervical techniques address root structural imbalances that can help patients relieve chronic migraine, headache, and concussion symptoms.

The Differences Between Headaches, Migraines, and Concussions

A migraine is a neurological disorder characterized by recurring episodes of severe headache, often accompanied by additional symptoms such as nausea, sensitivity to light and sound, and visual disturbances.

A headache is a broad term that encompasses various types pain and discomfort in the head or neck region. It can be caused by multiple factors, including tension, sinus issues, or underlying medical conditions.

A concussion is a mild to sever traumatic brain injury typically caused by a blow or jolt to the head. It can result in symptoms like headache, dizziness, confusion, memory problems, and changes in mood or sleep patterns.

Common Symptoms and Pain Points

Patients who suffer from migraine, headaches, and concussions often experience several common issues and significant health problems, such as:

  • Intense Pain

  • Cognitive Difficulties

  • Sensory Changes

  • Unpredictability

  • Emotional Impact

If you suffer from headaches or migraines, there is a very high probability that your ailments stem from chronic irritation of the nerves, muscles, or blood
vessels from a complex region between the head and neck known as the Craniocervical Junction.
